F.A.Q. Tape

Questions Regarding the Tape:

Application:

How should the tape be cut?

To cut the tape, just use a simple pair of scissors for paper. Cut strips and round the corners.

How should the tape be worn?

is important to keep in mind that the tape should not restrict any movement, especially the expansion of the rib cage. To do this, simply avoid placing the tape on the sternum and do not make a complete wrap around the chest.

How much should the tape be pulled?

The tape stretches to 180% of its length. However, pulling too much can irritate the skin. The first part on the chest and the last part under the armpits should be applied without pulling.

How many hours can I wear the tape?

The first time it is used, it should be kept for a maximum of six hours. Afterwards, it will be natural to adjust according to your body.

Can I wear the tape in water?

Absolutely! The tape is water-resistant, both fresh and saltwater, as well as pool water. Therefore, there are no issues with swimming while wearing the tape.

Can I do physical activity or sleep with the tape?

Absolutely! You can do physical activity with the tape, as the chest is not restricted in expansion. Sleeping with the tape on is also not a problem.

Removal:

When do I remove the tape?

Even if it stays attached, after a while the tape needs to be removed. It may also happen that, due to sweating, you feel itching; this occurs because, although the product is hypoallergenic, the adhesive limits the skin's perspiration. In this case, the tape should be removed. It is important not to scratch.

How to remove the tape?

The tape should be removed while wet, under the shower. It is essential not to remove it "dry." Apply a cleansing oil and wait for a few minutes. Then it will be possible to remove the tape slowly. Do not pull quickly. Additionally, the adhesive of the tape has a "wave" direction, so it will be easier to remove the tape starting from the sides and following the pattern of those waves.

Glue residues?

Sometimes there may be glue residues on the skin, it is essential to remove them, as they largely attach to dirt and clog the pores, potentially causing redness.

Moisturizing cream?

Absolutely! Applying it after removing the tape can make a difference.

Days off?
After removing the tape, it is essential to take at least one day off before reusing it, to allow the skin to relax.
